“About 4 years ago my husband and I had contacted Dick about our interest in selling our home and wondered if he would take a look and give us advice in terms of preparing for a move. He did that, and it was most helpful. Then, my husband's health declined and we postponed the move. I then went back to Dick a year ago and let him know I was going to be selling our home (my husband had died) and he and I talked about timelines, and kept in touch until earlier this year when I set out a plan with Dick's help. He was most professional, helpful, and available all along the way. This was a huge move for me as I relocated to Boston area to be closer to our daughter and family. Dick took much of the weight of selling our home off my worry list which was most helpful. Everything from pricing our home, scheduling the open house, and finalizing the sale went beautifully. His advice was always helpful. Our home sold very quickly as he as prepared me for. But then he also advocated for me in terms of a move out date which I appreciated. “Two years ago, we had a terrible experience with another local realtor. She was not transparent, knowledgable, or friendly. At that time, we decided to pull our house off the market and wait for a more opportune time. Dick Mattie was recommended to us by a friend and, judging by the many homes being sold in our area with his name on the sign, we figured we would take a shot. Dick was amazing! From our very first meeting, he made us feel comfortable and at ease. After a 45 minute meeting, we had an estimated sell price based on his in depth knowledge of appraisals, home values, and local knowledge. We also had an estimated profit on the sale which ended up being almost exactly what we walked away with. We sold our house after 6 days on the market at asking price!
